Cobase is expanding its ERP connectivity with the Cobase Bank Connector for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, now available through Microsoft AppSource.
The connector provides companies with a single, scalable way to connect Business Central to their banks worldwide, integrating directly with Business Central's native payment and bank reconciliation functionality. Through a standardised API integration, payments initiated from Payment Journals in Business Central are automatically transferred to Cobase for centralised approval and secure delivery to the relevant banks, without requiring additional approval in individual bank portals.Bank statements are automatically collected from connected banks and imported into Business Central, where they can be processed using the native Bank Account Reconciliation or Payment Reconciliation Journal functionality. This enables finance teams to automate bank statement processing and transaction matching while continuing to work within their familiar Business Central environment.
Cobase takes care of the banking complexity behind the integration. This includes managing bank connectivity, payment formats and country- or bank-specific requirements across the company's banking network. Rather than maintaining separate bank integrations, using local connectivity tools or relying on manual bank portals, companies benefit from one standardised connection that supports their banks worldwide.
For finance and treasury teams, this means less manual work when processing payments and reconciling bank statements, greater control through centralised payment approvals, and improved cash visibility. By integrating with Business Central's existing workflows, companies can automate their banking processes without changing how their finance teams work within the ERP.
As a company grows, additional banks, accounts and entities can be connected through Cobase without changing the existing Business Central integration. Customers can also extend their setup with Cobase's broader treasury capabilities, including cash visibility and forecasting, liquidity management, in-house banking, cash pooling and FX management.
