Cloud Engineer

We’re looking for a Cloud Engineer to join our team and help us keep our cloud infrastructure stable and secure. We welcome high performers who thrive in dynamic environments.

Group 239-2

At Cobase, we’re helping companies take back control of their banking and treasury operations.

Many mid-sized and large businesses manage multiple banks, dozens of accounts, and complex finance structures often spread across countries, currencies, and entities. It’s messy, inefficient, and hard to manage. That’s where we come in.

Cobase offers a single platform where finance teams can handle payments, cash management, and other treasury functionality all connected to their ERP or accounting system. No more jumping between portals or spreadsheets.

We work with international corporates, growing groups, and private equity-backed companies who want to simplify their financial operations and increase control.

The role: keep our cloud running strong.

We’re looking for a Cloud Engineer to join our Cloud Operations team. In this role, you’ll help make sure our cloud infrastructure stays stable, secure, and ready for the future. If you enjoy learning fast, taking initiative, and working in a team where your opinion matters, you’ll feel right at home here.

From day one, you’ll get to know our (Azure) setup by taking part in first-line support. It’s a great way to learn the ropes and see how everything fits together. At the same time, you’ll work on projects that improve our platform and support developers and business stakeholders in their daily challenges. Along the way, you’ll be diving into technologies like Kubernetes, Terraform, and Azure DevOps—picking up real hands-on skills that will set you up for success.

What you’ll do

You will assist internal and external parties in resolving incidents
Work on improving our cloud infrastructure platform to keep it up to date
Create and maintain documentation
After about 6 months of training, you will join the standby rotation, covering production incidents one weekend every four weeks
Able to work independently, but also thrive in a collaborative team environment
Communicate clearly and effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues

What we are looking for

Degree in IT-related field or equivalent experience
Eager to grow your skills in Azure-native, cloud infrastructure
Enjoy automating tasks with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Chef
Willing to learn and use Kubernetes and container technology
Familiar with CI/CD; Azure DevOps experience preferred
Quickly adapt to Linux (mainly RedHat, some Ubuntu); Windows skills a plus
Experience with PowerShell, Python, or Bash; Go knowledge is a bonus
Role includes workplace support and maintaining our laptop fleet
