TC Treasury Consult

Stefan Böhringer of TC Treasury Consult GmbH is an independent treasury advisor and interim treasurer based near Munich. With more than 25 years of experience in treasury, including 18 years in leading positions within the Volkswagen Group, he works with mid-sized companies across Germany that want a treasury function built to last.

His work starts where the system ends – the natural complement to the Cobase platform. TC Treasury Consult does not implement or configure treasury technology. It builds what the technology needs in order to work: the processes, policies, governance and strategies that define what a treasury department is allowed to do, who decides, and within which limits. The approach is standardised and pragmatic – just like a Cobase implementation.

The division of work is simple. Cobase connects the banks, implements the platform and supports the customer technically. TC Treasury Consult works with the customer's finance team on the organisational side – before, during or after go-live. Once a risk strategy is approved, the FX module has something to execute. Once intercompany agreements and transfer pricing are in place, in-house banking and cash pooling can go live. Once roles and authorisations are defined, user administration becomes audit-proof. The result: customers use more of what Cobase can do.
